Emily Damari, a British Israeli hostage, was abducted on October 7, 2023, and held by Hamas in Gaza for over 15 months. Despite her injuries — including the loss of two fingers — she emerged from captivity with unshaken courage. Since her release, Emily has campaigned for the freedom of those still held, her three-finger salute becoming a symbol of defiance and hope. Her strength has inspired Jews worldwide, showing how even in the face of unimaginable trauma, pride and resilience endure.
