Israeli Innovation: IsraAID

IsraAID is an independent Israeli humanitarian organisation, not a government agency, that responds to disasters around the world.

Its teams provide emergency medical care, clean water, mental health support and long term recovery programs in places affected by war, earthquakes and other crises.

There are many large international aid organisations, and others that specialise in rapid response. IsraAID stands out because it operates somewhere in between.

It deploys quickly, works directly on the ground, and supports communities not only in the immediate aftermath but through the longer process of rebuilding their lives.

For example, IsraAID continues to support communities affected by the war in Ukraine, providing mental health care and access to safe water long after the initial headlines have faded.

It is about helping people regain stability, safety and the ability to rebuild after crisis.

It reflects the idea that freedom is not only something you seek for yourself. It is something you help create for others.
