She’s Wonder Woman on screen and a proud Jew off screen. Gal Gadot went from serving in the IDF to becoming one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars. She doesn’t shy away from her identity, using her platform to showcase Israeli talent and champion women in film. She’s also faced plenty of criticism for her outspoken support of Israel. In August 2025 she addressed this candidly in Special Interview, an Israeli TV program where celebrities are questioned by a panel of interviewers on the autism spectrum.
